steve mathias, we were able to meet with the officer last month and we met with him at the space and we talked about a little bit of our history, what we're about, what we've done, the history of the space and what our plans are for the space. we also discussed in detail much about our security plan because we know that that's very important to the police department as well as ourselves, and a couple of those key concerns that we addressed were the security personnel, we plan to staff one security personnel for every 50 to 75 patrons, we plan to have surveillance cameras at both entrances and exits and the cameras will be wide angled cameras able to not only film what's happening at both entrances and exits but what's happening across the street, and we also plan to have both entrances and exits well lit with security patrolling 100 feet in both directions and of course adopting a solid, good neighbor policy. also, after we submitted our application, we begafn doing our neighborhood outreach, we reached out to some neighborhood groups, we reached out to david volobis from the community

name is steve morton, involved with [indiscernible] for 12-14 years, it seems like a lifetime. it seemed significant progress, the ability to free up 12-14 acres in the city for broad forms of recreation and habitat restoration. we haven't had access to the property for generations now. the puc does have a watershed report that they commissioned with broad public comment. i would like to have the supervisors ask mr. richie whether they concur with the operation to bring forward a stakeholders in this project's report, which has been broadly reviewed in the community, and apply under the tutelage of the puc the 2 million dollars in the recently adopted bond. i think it is appropriate that the puc as the land owner be the lead agency for the expenditure of that money on the recreation programs and habitat programs that could be, that are in the puc's report. they are the active operators. the recreation department has been largely absent for decades. so, i think is a puc is the owner, the rightful group, they should be responsible to apply the 2 million dollars. >> superv

, steve mathias from central station, giving a recap of what's been going on, an update as far as horizon 490 broadway, they are serving a 15 day suspension through the abc, this is going to go from november 14 to the 29th, this is for a minor that was intoxicated on their premises. as far as [inaudible] we've had a little bill of a loel, not as many incidents going on in the district the last few weeks. oftentimes, we've noticed that thanksgiving weekend, a lot of times, there's an increase because a lot of kids come home from different slaloms and they meet up with their friends and things happen there, but as far as any incidents that have happened, on october 24th at 1:30, the ambassador, victim's jacket was stolen, a couple of different thefts, this person's purse was stolen and the victim caught the suspects outside, so one person went to county jail, part of the reason we bring that up is it's nice for the staff at the different venues to know there are a lot of thefts going on and that's really what we want to have a heightened awareness so that the patrons when they're coming to
